今日はパインコーンのヴィンテージwashの

コーンデニム　ジーンズをご紹介します。

生地を作っているのが言わずと知れたコーンミルズとゆう

会社なんですが

元々の社名は　White Oak Cotton Mills (ホワイトオークコットンミルズ）

で　1905年　Ｍｏｓes and Ceasar Cone　コーン兄弟によって

作られたデニム会社です。

コーンミルズという社名自体は　第2次大戦後　複数の織布会社をまとめ

その総称として社名変更を行ったようです。

当時から　ノースカロライナ　グリーンスボロの糸巻き室には

実に60000ものスピンドルが有り　見渡す限りの糸巻き。

100年以上前に　すでにこれほど大規模に織布の

工程が行われていました。

巷にはアジアで生産されたデニムが溢れ

僕ら洋服好きには　ある日突然でてきた

デニムじゃ穿く気にならないんです。
